Denise Brody has been a licensed clinical social worker since 1985, license FL 4482. She completed her Graduate work at Fordham University at the Lincoln Center campus, NYC. Denise was honored as the top student in her graduate school class and received the Edward L. Curran Award. She has been on staff at several hospitals in New York, New Jersey and Florida while maintaining her private psychotherapy practice. Denise is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). She has also been featured on television, radio, as well as published.
Denise finds balance and inspiration through a variety of meaningful pastimes. She enjoys walking in nature, where she reconnects with stillness and presence, and she finds joy listening to music, reading, and cooking nourishing meals. Whether she's streaming a favorite TV show, watching sports, or exploring creativity through jewelry making and knitting, Denise believes in the importance of tending to the small pleasures that bring comfort, expression, and connection.
These personal interests reflect the same values she brings to her therapeutic work—groundedness, curiosity, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the healing power of everyday moments.
